Bob Matheny has over 40 years of electric cooperative experience, including 32 as GM/CEO at HomeWorks Tri-County EC in MI and Sequachee Valley EC in TN.

During this time, Bob was privileged to serve as Board Chair of SEDC, CRC and NRTC along with serving as a CFC Director and on several boards/committees of NRECA, TVPPA and three statewides.

As GM/CEO and Chair of SEDC and CRC, Bob was directly involved in search and selection of numerous executive level employees.

Bob earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and his MBA from University of Tennessee.

Since his retirement in early 2015, Bob has consulted with several cooperatives across the US on facility planning and management issues.

Bob and wife Joyce live in Sarasota, Fl with grandchildren in Michigan, Georgia and Tennessee.
